The Grimace serves as Ronald McDonalds loyal companion and enforcer. The Legend of Grimace Island revealed that the name Grimace actually refers to the Grimace species as a whole. Long ago the merry and good-natured Grimaces, harried by outsiders, set their island kingdom adrift and relocated to a secret place of which only the Grimace and allies such as Ronald McDonald know the location.
